Many people dream of visiting France.  When it comes to the south of France there is no shortage of beautiful places to visit.   Lonely Planet has listed the former Languedoc-Roussillon region (now Occitanie) in its "Top 10 Regions to Discover Absolutely in 2018", saying:

Stretching from Provence to the Pyrenees, this sultry, sun-baked region feels like a country in its own right. It’s been a strategic border since Roman times and is awash with historical reminders, from Roman aqueducts to hilltop Cathar castles. These days it’s best known for its vineyards, which produce a third of France's wines, and the busy beaches sprawling along its Mediterranean shore.

With rave reviews like that it is no wonder the Languedoc is considered the real South of France.  The following 5 videos capture the diversity and beauty of this magical region.  Which one is your favorite?  Do you have another one that you want to add to this list?  Share in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe!
